.. has already decided that Cowgill isn't up to professional football.

He also reckons that next season will be the same as this year. Amazing. He knows that, even though no-one knows what the team is.

He also knows that Digby is no good, and that George Smith and Holgate are useless.

I thought that was Smith's best game yet before he got taken off. Got forward really well.

I don't rate Digby never have, needs to stop flicking ball up as he passes it backwards putting his defenders under pressure, needs to risk forward passes more instead of sideways and back, he's no where near mobile enough for the role he plays, he's too slow in everything he does, he doesn't smell danger, he never seems to make himself a option to be passed to, he can't run with the ball, and I've never seen him shoot.

    Bree Holgate Cowgill Smith
All look to be capable to me from what I've seen of them at various levels

    3 of em struggled today.

Holgate looked better in the centre, but by then the game had gone the way games do and it's hard to evaluate fully. He distributes well from the back.

The others looked what they are. Without too much promise.

Smith was excellent today. Would have been my motm had he not had to go off early.

The bloke behind me moaned at everything he did. I could have lost all dignity and slapped him.

Thought Smith was the best player on the pitch shame he had to go off. Real development coming from him every game so that's promising.

    Sorry to disagree.

He's young and can improve. His first touch forward into space is good. His defence is good. The rest is not good enough. Yet.

People keep talking about holgate but I think smith is going to develop into some player when he gets more experience,

Rate Holgate. Don't rate Smith to be honest

From my extensive experience of 3 games this season, I like the look of both Holgate and Smith.

I think you have stumbled upon a professional Yorkshireman, he who befits the old joke:

"You can always tell a Yorkshireman, but you can't tell him much."
