BBC forced to give Farage his own Q & A Programme.

Due to left wing bias at their election special debate.Now that is a surprise , ain't it? Hardly surprising Cameron ( and Clegg) refused to attend. Dimbleby,an antique relic, and Co. should be sacked. We should no longer have to pay a license fee for this not fit for purpose organisation.

I am not a supporter of Farage, but this bias shows the BBC is not fit for purpose.

There is another public debate planned with the leaders of the 3 main parties.

Farage has complained that he should be there so this q & a programme may be as a result of that.

I am a UKIP supporter and I am a Farage supporter.

But what did Arrr Nigel expect when at the side of him stood a group of people that could be described as '50 shades of Red'.
All the other panellists were all splinter groups of the same political party.

Farage had opportunities to ride a horse and cart through some of the things that the other panellists were saying instead he ended up arguing with the audience.
It was a poor performance by Farage but it still doesn't put me off voting UKIP because basically what they are saying on every topic is correct.
Except one - I don't like the idea of Grammar Schools coming back into fashion.

No mate farage is wrong on just about everything.

Immigration is good for this country, and it's one of the reasons the economy is doing so well. Immigrants as a group pay more in tax in percentage terms than the population as a whole and claim less benefits. They also help to grow the economy and spend their cash here - what's not to like?

Foreign aid is absolutely essential. We live in a global economy, we must give targeted aid to help developing countries boost their economies, thereby growing overseas markets and ensuring stability etc.

This nonsense about HIV tourism is also b*llocks. The foreigners getting treatment either caught it after coming here, or came from a country where treatment is freely available, so the tourism bit is total crap. If we didn't treat them then the likelihood us that more Brits would catch it and then it would cost even more. So to say the opportunity cost is cancer treatment for pensioners is also total crap.

I think most people take Farage too seriously, hence all the hyp about him everywhere. In reality his party will probably get less than 5 seats in Parliament, which doesn't make them coalition candidates by any means. But he does appear to have a positive purpose by being the main party's conscience, immigration is a problem in Britain, not from the EU but from other parts of the world, mainly Eastern Europe and Africa these days, China will be the next, plus all the boat people crossing to southern Italy who will eventually filter their way to Britain. That's a fact that both the main parties have acknowledged in their manifestos, but would it have been such an issue without Farange? who knows. He brings up some unpopular issues that others shy away from for fear of being called racist, but some of these issues must be dealt with. I left in 83 and have been saddened by what Britain has become; it used to be a place where you could call a spade a spade colloquially speaking, where men were men and women didn't want to wear the pants. A place which was admired and respected in the world. Looking from afar on the other side of the fence it sadly appears to have become a nanny state mainly due to a succession of governments intent on gaining votes rather than looking after their own. Seems a strange thing to say but people in Britain appear to have become lethargic in accepting their fate rather than standing for something they believe is right. In this sense you have to admire Farage to some extent and it probably explains his 15% popularity right now which would I assume come from people in the +50 age group mainly who can recall the better times.

Was there left-wing bias in that debate? Really?? Farage tried that card, simply because he didn't like how his contributions to the evening were going down, but came unstuck. Where was it biased? Carefully selected audience reflecting parties of every hue. C+C declined to attend simply because they can't defend their record in an open forum. How Cameron has manipulated the broadcasters over these debates has been an absolute scandal. I just wish the BBC had prepared the stage with two empty lecterns where those cowardly clowns should have been.

 

I am a UKIP support and like all UKIP supporters they will tell you that immigration to this country is GREAT and benefits this country.

But this is not what UKIP is talking about with regard to immigration

What UKIP are saying is this - we need a points system in this country like they have in Australia so we can pick and choose who comes into the country.
At the moment we are discriminating against people coming into this country from the Commonwealth countries - preventing people from those countries coming in because we have an OPEN DOOR policy with Europe.

So instead of picking the doctors and nurses from India or Africa we at the moment are choosing to ignore people like that just to allow unskilled workers from Eastern European countries to come here.

Consequently 250,000 to 300,000 Europeans entre this country every year.

Now these Europeans may pay taxes..........but are they paying enough taxes to offset their impacts on this country. By........

Eliminating congestion on our motorways.........have you tried to drive around this country?

Reducing waiting times at the doctors or in A&E?

Producing more classrooms so we haven't got 1 in 10 of our children unable to find a place of their parents choice?

Building more houses to offset the huge housing problem?

Are taxes from the millions of Europeans now living in this country solving those problems of overcrowding?
