But isn't it a contradiction to say that based on today only those looked good enough and then say based on today berry was the best?

    Re: Today was just experimental

Because he tried the fringe and young uns. Cowgill looked of with things in the Air but was run ragged on the floor. Outmuscled by their back four. Played some very good possesion and Berry played very well in centre mid. Looked like a pre season friendly but I think Holgate and Scowan looked tired. Smith had a good game but we don't have anyone that can play as a winger and I'm not sure Digby, , Lalkovic have shown enough to be regular starters. Hourihane had a decent game as did Nayatanga, Winnall and Davies. I think we saw today how incomplete our squad is right now and how much the Loanees have helped our game this season.I know Jennings is injured but no sign or Hemmings and Mvoto on the bench may tell a story.

What a strange post. Utterly negative with an attempt at positive towards the end. Do not understand the Digby abuse. Totally bizarre.

Again we only looked like scoring from Hourihane's set pieces.

Worth his place in the team for his delivery alone IMO.

    Totally.

He has suffered a dip in what we saw earlier in the season. Much likely confidence due to stick he has been getting.

But he isn't a one man team. There are 10 others on the pitch and he offers creativity and certainly deadly from set pieces.

We ain't seen delivery like his for years

We haven't actually attempted deliveries before though. For years we've had Perkins style passes to the side from free kicks.

    Dull boring affair.

We were unbelievably negative. Even with a man advantage for the last 15 mins, Winnall was left to toil alone up front with none of our midfield getting up to support him. Set pieces our only hope.

We lack any pace whatsoever going forward - I just don't see the point at all of Lalkovic.
