do we need a proper reserve team in a league for next season?

The under 21s development league in my opinion doesn't work at all. Our young players aren't getting used to playing against men at all because all their opponents are kids as well then there's the problem that for over 21s only 3 of them are allowed to play so during our winning streak only three from berry, bailey, hemming, Jennings, lita, mvoto, or Ramage were allowed to keep any kind of match fitness and that's only if they were included instead of the kids.

Best thing we could do would be to join the proper reserves

Whilst I agree in principle, I wouldn't want the reserve team to hinder the development of our younger players and become somewhere for the fringe players to get game time.

Is there room for the under 21 players and the over 21 players to both get game time? I guess that is the question.

I'm a bit worried about our academy because it seems it has hundreds of defenders in it but no attacking players at all (apart from Oates). We've been crying out for a winger all season and not a single one has appeared from the under 21s or even been spoken about or any thing at all like that. Same goes for anyone who can run at defended. No names have been mentioned.

We seem to produce a lot of defenders and then the likes of digby, tippy tappy players who sit in front of the back four but where are the players from the other end of the pitch?
