Errr nor much. I don't think even many Russians are that bothered about it! Who are they playing against?

It's a local derby as far as Russian football is concerned. The two towns are only 750 miles from one another. A mere 16 hour car journey.

When they play FC Luch-Energiya Vladivostok it's 5863 miles away. A car journey of 4 days and 21 hours according to Google maps. A bit more difficult than a round trip to Plymouth. New York is 2000 miles closer to us than Vladivostock is from Makhachkala.

Gives an idea of just how chuffing big Russia is.

They're a goal down btw. All over them for first half hour but didn't score. Watching it on b365.

A few years ago four Zenit fans drove to the away match at Luch Energiya. Took them two weeks, with stops I presume. Unfortunately their rather old car conked out in Vladivostok. Zenit got wind of the story, paid for their flights home and bought them a new car when they returned to St Petersburg.

I only needed them to score... Only Saratov's 3rd home win of the season.

Weren't Anzhi the side who spent millions a few years ago building a side full of top players? Vaguely remember them signing Samuel Eto. How the mighty have fallen

Yep, they finished bottom of the league in the 2013/2014 season. They spent a tonne of money, brung in Etoo, Zhirkov, Chris Samba, Willian etc & I imagine they spent a fair wack on hiring Guus Hiddink!

Got money for my season ticket this weekend. Turned 30 quid into 500+ betting on rugby league. Incredibly easy this weekend with handicap betting on challenge cup. had a few singles and 3 accumulators all come in. I'm not a big gambler so don't go mad. A lad I know won over 6k today on RL

Some really daft handicaps from bookies. Unbeaten leeds 4 start against saints. Leigh 8 start against a Salford team ravaged with injuries. Then York playing an amature team and only starting on -18. Fev and batley against teams in lower league on -14 and -18 all won by 30 points or more.

Wish id had every team I picked as 1 big accumulator though, if have won over 1k
