Ive just received a letter from sky

    Stating that from June my monthly bill will increase by £3-50 but for that they are making Sky Go even better by bringing me a few extra channels to watch on my IPad at AT NO EXTRA!....err except Mr Sky for the £3-50 you are going to charge me, seriously you couldn't make it up. I think a phone beckons :)

    On a similar theme, I phoned BT the other day to get upgraded to super fast broadband, and was offered £6 per month off my line rental - without even asking!

    Just got the letter from Virgin, but the increase is only £2 a month, and you get BT sport free!

    Got the same letter last week a quid for Sky Sports and 2.50 on the Entertainment package. Rang them up, said it's a disgrace they are putting up the price when they are losing champions league coverage (even though I hardly watch a game) and it soon came down lower than it was to begin with.

    I've just had same result mate, I've just asked them to reduce it to the basic package and got it lowered for 6 months.

    Which is exactly my problem with the whole scenario. Sky can charge what they want, it's their service - like it or lump it. What I cannot abide though is putting the price up, when they have less of a product (since losing the Champions League).
