I was born on St David's day... and I am a David. My wife was born on St Andrews day but she's an Angie.

Come on who was born on St Patrick's day to complete the set ?

Shows how little it is celebrated in this country, as I didn't even know it was St George's Day.

She still says that now gawd bless her.

Which, as I'm sure we'd all agree, is a perfectly normal way to talk to a man in his 30s

no mate its not that, its all the pc brigade, holier than thou lot, that will defend anybodies rights so long as they agree with them but you disagree and then its racist, papist, and anyother kind of "ist" what they don't seem to realise is you can disagree but still be friends and not get all bent out of shape about it

See I'm confused cos all the people who've posted things similar to the above today on Facebook are the people who constantly complain about England

I'm quite proud of modern England on the whole. Plus its 15 years today since me and my wife went on our first date so happy days all round

Celebrate St. Edmund the Martyr instead. He was the original Patron Saint of England, he actually existed and came from this country.:D
