Doesn't matter who he signs, Wilson had this basic team and we were attacking and scoring goals..worse form than 1st half of season this and there will be no better start of next season because adding 2 or 3 crap players won't alter anything with 2 or 3 crap ones going out and still playing this negative system Unfortunately we've appointed a manager that isn't going to play football that we expect at Oakwell ,so get used to it
Still willing to give LJ a chance. The same chance the board should have afforded Wilson. surely LJ won't sit there and think "this negative crap football will get us promoted and let me keep my job". If he does he's not right upstairs!

We had no attacking intention under Wilson. He was just as bad if not worse than Johnson. Give Johnson a transfer window before criticizing.
Hold on ,Johnson has brought in his own loans in Stewart ,jabo ,John and wildsmith and has now made noises that he would like to sign o Sullivan and Williams if available who were both Danny's men! Danny's team did play football .Yes we conceded goals at first but crickey we scored em ,Devante Cole springs to mind and Winnall .. Criticise I will if I see negative boring and to boot non victorious football and paid my hard earned money to watch the team I care about and have done for the last 35 years.
Wow 4 players. 4 players that were needed, and desperately. Wilson also brought in Lita,Hemmings,Treacy and Brown, where two of them were released mid season! If we're the same by December, i will congratulate you on being correct and me being wrong.
Admittedly some of those players that were in the squad weren't good enough . 4 players is best part of half a team as is plenty to alter the structure and format of the first 11 by anyone's call. I said to my other half that whilst we were on that run that burton started that we were never convincing then and just got the luck so to speak. If this negative 1 up front rubbish continues then i fear Oakwell may just be home of 4000 fans come December
I agree it is annoying but its all we can play i think. Not sure sure what formation will suit us. Suppose we'll have to wait and see what the summer brings
With all due respect to every fan.We don't complain ever about a signing because we usually think its exciting a change an addition that the manager obviously feels will be better and enhance the team .It is only on watching the team that we then evaluate and think for gods sake who is this p&llock . In my industry , people have views as people do in any but ultimately it is the 'educated' in his said industry to sort the wheat from the chaff and better which ever position he she is in charge of. So when I heard about jabo ,John,Stewart,even wildsmith I entrusted that the'chosen one had done his bloody homework and was enhancing our team......
Tbh, every post i start to agree with you more. But. I believe John and Stewart were panic signings because the lack of pace/width we had. Althought these two haven't enhanced that. I really hope we dont sign players similar to those.
Johnson says our current squad doesn't allow him to play 442 because the wide men aren't good enough. This seems to hint that he wants to play 442 and will do so with the right personel. Unfair to judge him yet surely. Oh sorry I forgot, this is the bbs...
It's just opinions and frustrations along with the desire to see OUR team do well. Lee says we have the best midfield in the league ,Danny's midfield, I think we've one of the best goalies ,Danny's goalie, defence has arguably some of the best in this league aka Holgate ,Cranie ,Nyatanga ,even Smith .One of the best strikers in Winnall (when fit) ,Danny's striker, even waring did the role of JAbo so really with 4 loan signings why didn't Lee bring in the wingers he needed or whatever to play 442 which I agree is the best system... Negative breeds negative ,look at this forum now for example ,everyone peed off with the fact that the Mighty Barnsley are now heading with all of the above stated quality below Rochdale ,Gillingham ,Fleetwood etc etc.....because of a negative system that so easily didn't have to be
The players available for loan close to the end of the season are pretty much Hobson's Choice. Many more to choose from in the Summer...
