Careful Let's hope whatever it is, isn't too serious. It was probably having to listen to Whitey for a day that done him in
I saw Ben in the toilet with his legs in the air while lying down, physio and 3 St. John's with him, asked if he was ok, he said he'd be fine. Walked most of the way with Ben ( when Whitey ****** off) and Linton. Upmost admiration for them, decent blokes too.
Two marathons in aid of Barnsley Hospice I believe...A glib comment from LD...Get over it you P.C. warriors.
Doesn't make a difference if he's run 50 marathons and killed 20 lions with his bare hands, it was still an unnecessary comment.
How have you got my photo, Supertyke? That's theft is that. Ben has gone well up in my book after his efforts today. If owt, I think he tried too hard, went off a bit too soon trying to keep pace with the younger lads (and ryhill tyke who int). But he was good company, in great spirits and walked every mile. I had intended to really take the piss (in a nice way) during the walk but I couldn't do it to him because he was genuinely such a pleasure, as were the lot of the lads/lasses today. I feel absolutely proud, privileged to have been a part of summat so special. As for Ben, he's in BRI (hospital in Bradford) and on the ward where my missus works. In overnight, but should be fine. He might get **** wrong as our CEO, but as a bloke, he's showed he has balls today. Covered in vaseline.
he walked to bradford? that could be a reason well done for everyone who walked today hope your ok ben
LOL, I've just seen the thread where it says he was dehydrated, well done to him for finishing the walk and well done to all the fans that did it.
Hope he's alright. As said earlier not many Chief Executives would do that walk for charity. This kinda thing would be a wake up call to anyone. I'm sure he will be changing bits of his lifestyle now to get in better shape.
