I do hope this is done... the Mount is well linked to the fans of BFC. I wonder if Dyson, Gally , Blower or Bramah... can get this sorted. I also think Ben & Patrick would be well happy to see this happen.
I'll join in, definitely. Can't say I knew him or owt, but I was a regular in there in the noughties so he must have served me at least once.
I am going to club to renew season ticket tomorrow. Might ask if the club have or are planning on sending at least some flowers to the funeral?
'The greatest pint I ever had and I was on cloud 9'. Blimey. He can't get out much. Or JOB spiked his pint..
No doubt I'll be paying my respects . Top man and always made me feel welcome in the mount . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dont join in if you dont want to I wouldn't mind being involved in a minutes silence every game if it makes it that little easier for the family affected
First few were sound but now everyone wants one. I don't know why this new fad has come in. From next season we should just stick to a minutes applause at the last home game for all fans that have passed in the past year.
Please help make this happen, I have joined this forum in the hope of spreading the word of the above... Sue is a friend of mine and tragically lost her dad at the weekend, he is lifelong red and this would be a fitting tribute. Please spread the word, I have PM'd the admin of the forum to help - i've also contacted the club directly in the hope we can make this happen. I am a Wolves fan myself and I know that this type of thing is possible as I've seen it at the Molineux. Football is powerful and the passion of following a football club stays with people for life - to hold this applause would mean everything to Sue and her family and of course Phil. Please please please help spread the word. Thanks
I knew personally Jack Mawby, Gary Sefton and now Phil and it's been a sad season in terms of losing such stalwart reds fans, but I tend to agree with you mate that it could potentially get out of hand with one or even more than one minutes appaluse every home game. I think it would still have been a fitting tribute for the 3 named above, and any others who I may have missed, to have their names read out before the last match of the season followed by a minutes applause for all of them at once, and i think that is the best way forward for next season if I'm honest. I still think we should give Phil a good round of applause on Sunday though, then consider the best way forward after that.
