Wasn't in game much , but was great to see him get a good reception . A local lad who wanted to play for us .
Still runs like his body doesn't fit on his legs. Ungainly, no athleticism about him. Poor game but nice to see the applause he got.
Thought he was their best player until subbed off, went close with a couple of rasping drives, split our defence for another chance for Dale. But does still look a bit too stocky. Holgate dealt with him well I thought. They did lose 5-0 once he went off.
Definitely. He's got the ability to be one of the best but I can't help but feel that the treatment of him and the left back experiment has had a significant detrimental effect on his career that he won't recover from.
I still find it strange that he signed for Hill, the one that didnt play him , then wanted him to be a left back, when he is a decent forward with potential? One of those players that we will never see the best of maybe ? Nice lad too.
I felt he did ok. I think he'll be a good player in this league next season & will start more often as long as he doesn't get injuries. Still think we should've gave him a run of games when you consider some of the ***** we started over him
His greatest contribution of the game was absolutely ****ting a shot wide, which then hit me plum in the stomach much to the merriment of my mate and those around us. Other than that, didn't really do much.
I believe Hill has played him at left back a lot for Dale. Might be wrong, mind. I think he's a striker. As does Reuben. And he'd have done better than ******* Jennings or Lita this season with the same amount of games. But it's about time we moved on from this Rochdale business. We've paggered em over two games, Keith made a bit of a pillock of himself in the build up and I thought our lack of attention towards him yesterday was brilliant. No singing about him, just ignorance. Great stuff. Although to be fair, I don't think we did any singing full stop did we? But won 5-0. So much for that idea that getting behind em makes a difference.
Nah, from memory he played left wing back once after coming on as sub when we were losing. Apart from that he's been one of the front three or the advanced one in midfield. There's something there, I'm not totally sure what, but there's something. He never looks like he's ever confident in what he's doing, get that right and he could smack a few in from distance and become a decent player.
Me and r kid were on about this yesterday. We wondered if the lack of any attention or acknowledgment worked better than chanting anti Hill songs for 90 minutes. I bet he wanted the attention that he expected from us and was a bit disappointed that we just blanked him.
