The post I responded to was insinuating if he moved to Bournemouth he'd be closer to his girlfriend. Obviously if contract length, ambition, wage rise etc come into it he's going to be buggering off and rightly so. But if the decision came down to solely the point that was being made then staying here would make more sense.
I'm only having a joke mate. Just tickled me the thought of a player deciding who to play for based on a train timetable. I know that wasn't the point you were making, but doesn't make it any less funny.
Not necessarily, you looked at train times. If Conor drives the times may well be different. EDIT: It's still about the same, with an half hour to an hour difference depending on route
He did some good detective work there I reckon, although there is a website that would have done it for him: http://www.thetrainline-europe.com/train/barnsley-to-london-kings-cross~7000276~7001370 http://www.thetrainline-europe.com/train/london-waterloo-to-bournemouth~7001444~7000277 All that train travel could be expensive though. If he took the National Express it would only cost him £5.50 from Bournemouth. And at only 2 hours 20 minutes, I reckon that could be the deal breaker. http://www.nationalexpress.com/coac...uth to london&utm_campaign=All Routes - Exact
therefore all new contracts should come with the offer of a free railcard, we cant have our cherubs on the bus mixing with people who bet on horses.
If Bournemouth part with a couple of million they will have been robbed. Our lot would sell him for some magic beans.
If Hourihane leaves is it any different to LJ leaving Oldham for us. Do you put yourself first or your club. Plus how many great players have we let go in the past. We'll end up buying players that are only good enough for this league.
let him go for owt over 1 million.....our player of the season has been getting boo'd half the season over rated now if we lost Scowen I'd be miffed
