We had the chance to tellbother councilors that plans to destroy the green belt were unacceptable.

However, today's results give them.the mandate to carry on passing up.our backs.

This town is done for I'm.afraid

Is that green belt right in your back garden by any chance?

building on green belt should be encouraged.....houses are needed fast.....some of the green belt are not beautful countryside settings...they are empty fields that need utilising. You cannot however get planning permission for love ner money(unless you know the right people allegedly) . However hopefully that will change shortly.

Build build build, we need homes now. And what we need is fancy expensives houses which make more money for the landowners, not this affordable housing nonsence where less money is received for the land.

Mmmm .... replace them with whom? Looking at the Results, the alternatives were UKIP, English Democrats (oxy feking moron), Tory or (unregulated typically been booted out the the Labour Perty) independants.
At least if a labour councillor breaks their party rules they're out (same for tory)...... can't really say that for most of the others !!!!
Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for !!!!

Well in the Dodworth ward the main ward affected by the ambiguous mu1 they had a keep in green candidate

However, saving the greenbelt only attracted 408 votes

Richard Riggs won the Dodeth ward - I play rugby with Richard and also know him from Scouts - he's a hard working honest person with a track record of service to the community .... he'll look after the Dodworth people!!!
