Looks as they are on the same road to nowhere. How their owner is on the League committee is beyond my comprehension.

One wonders just how far the club will fall.

No wonder fans get upset with some owners, who seem to have an agenda that is incomprehensible.

There doesn't appear to be an end in sight with this civil war, either.

Up to the 1979/80 season they'd always been above Barnsley in the football pyramid whilst I'd been following us.

The only end is for the football league to remove oyston from the leagues board of directors and for him to be banned from running a football club.

I'm actually disgusted that the fa/league have so far failed to act after his comments to fans. He should have been investigated as a matter of urgency. Any football club director or owner openly stating that their aim is to take the club to the conference should not be allowed to carry on

The FA & FL suits continually show they are nothing more than modern day Sir Humphrey Applebys, in my opinion. They talk and talk and talk, but actually do nothing.

He was sacked at huddersfield, and didn't really quit at Rotherham or Coventry he simply took a better job at a better club. Barnsley is the only club you can say he truly quit at and even that was only after the club handed him his notice

I can guarantee you, 100%, he wasn't sacked by Huddersfield.

And I get you're point. Maybe we should reword it to 'walked out' of every club in differing circumstances.

So you're like the opposite of robins? He walks out of clubs, you walk into them.

I thought that he was mutual consented at Huddersfield? Doesn't that mean sacked but more polite?

No idea what that first sentence is about.

And no, Mark went to see Hoyle in the wake of the opening day mauling by Bournemouth and offered his resignation, saying he couldn't take it on any further.

I think they'll be relegated again next season. Where the slide will end I don't know but if I was a Blackpool fan I'd be very worried indeed.

Fair enough, you know best :)

I meant you and your mates walking to every bloody club in the country which you seem to do these days.

I only know because Mark explained it all to Jacob. He apologised for leaving (he'd just agreed to sign for him) saying he just couldn't take it on any further. Pretty sure that if he'd been sacked he'd have told him so.

I'm just glad the next bloke liked Jacob and he's gone on to be POTY. Managers are a funny breed.

But back to Clark, I think he's got a hell of a lot of reparation to do to his reputation. No idea why anyone would take the Blackpool gig on, but some funny bred manager will.
