    Where's everyone off on their holidays this summer?

    Classic close season thread.

    Off to Ireland and Finland for weddings in the next couple of months, just for long weekends. And America but not until the football season has begun again so that doesn't count.

    Whereabouts in Finland? Go to Helsinki and Imatra quite a bit. Beautiful place with very eccentric locals (I'm sure Tomi will agree!) but bloody expensive and a standard "pint" is 440ml! Rip off!

    Yeah Helsinki, it's a place I've never thought of visiting personally but my girlfriends friend has been dozens of times and is getting married there. Really looking forward to it

    Nowhere for me, but the missus is taking the kids to Australia for three weeks to stay at her friends in Cairns, so I guess that will be like a three week holiday! Who am I kidding, I miss the kids when they go to school, so it's gonna be horrible. Can console myself by getting to the cricket and a couple of pre-season friendlies without any complaints though!

    Might take the kids to the seaside for a few days when they get back and then our lass can join us for the long weekend (she doesn't work Fridays). Probably up Whitby way, or we might go down to Brighton, as I used to live down there.

    Beginning of June we're cruising the med. Stops in Palma, Monaco, Barcelona, Florence, Pisa, Corsica and Rome. Never done a cruise before, looking forward to it. 19 more working days left.

    Daughters wedding all set up for Santorini next year, in a winery, slurp... :)
