They also said that they wanted to sign players with a resale value. Talbot wouldn't bring any money back in plus he's injury prone and couldn't get in the Chesterfield side so we're better off without IMO
He's definitely injury prone, can't disagree with that. But I can't accept the idea that he's no good because he's second fiddle at right back for Chesterfield. Their first choice right back is Tendayi Darikwa, the best in the division. Now, I'd like us to be in for him, not Talbot, but can't see us paying half a mill or whatever it'd take to get him. Aside from his injury problems, I think Talbot would be a useful addition to our squad. Folk on here prefer us to sign Reece Brown because he once was at Man Utd and looked okay in one friendly. Or cream themselves over Fat Keith Treacy and lazy Leroy Lita. I prefer the randoms, who folk don't fancy, lads we've never heard of, your Scowen's, Berry's, Hourihane's and Winnall's of the pub league. Don't take this post too seriously, mard arses.
Williams and Bree (Holgate cover) are cracking right back options. If we want an older statesman to play cover for holding midfielder, he needs to be better than what we have or it is just another body.
I don't feel he'll be on LJ's radar to be honest, but someone on here suggested they knew it was happening. To be fair though, we'll end up linked with about 200 laikers before we even sign our first..
He's more of a winger, playing right wing back in a 3-5-2. Can't defend for toffee. I'd ******* ejaculate if we signed him though. More chance of plaiting fog like. But aye, I think Darikwa was the best right back in a back four, which I'm assuming is how we'll line up next season.
to be fair whitey : he`s a good lad :who if it weren't for the injuries he got at the "wrong times" could have been championship level. Drew will get a decent offer from hopefully a decent club but not BFC
