Let's hope not. If we want to do well next year we need to keep hold of our better players. But like has been mentioned, everybody has their price I suppose.
We've got to sell him 3 bob and a pile Panini swaps is far too much to turn down for someone on a short contract, I just hope none of the board members have the down right ridiculous notion that keeping hold of him is the right thing to do, stickers might have a Des Walker and a Ipswich foil in them
Until there's a source for this, I'm calling ******** on it. I'd expect interest in him, and Bolton may well fancy him, but the only 'source' I can see here is a ***** article put together on an unofficial Football League site, that's been put together by a child by the looks of it. I expect bids to come in for him, and maybe Winnall, Holgate and Bree. If the club get offers that are genuinely impossible to turn down, no problem. It's how we roll as a smaller club. Totally understandable. But not since JD was owner have we got a fair deal for our better players, and it's that which annoys folk.
There was a newsnow link earlier, saying that Bolton should bid for him based on his goals and assists. Link below http://the72.co.uk/27859/barnsleys-star-player-to-bolton/ Sent from my SM-G800F using Forum Runner
Exactly. A shoddy, uninformed fan article. It'd be like me doing a blog post saying we should bid for Nathan Byrne, and then Swindon fans believing it.
Have you seen the other post about that lad we've been linked with him, not seen anything other then on here but we have been linked with him because some people like thee have mentioned him before, if he goes on to be a top player we'll have always just missed out on him, because we was after him
