Or any of our signings for that matter, if they're any good the contact they're under isn't worth the paper it's written on, because as soon as any offer comes in he's off like a shot, because the undisclosed fee was too good to turn down, and if he's dog **** we're stuck with the useless cu'nt until his contracts up or we pay him off. Ether way it's not worth even hoping he'll be any good because we'll never benefit from any of our signings the way the club players and agents go about their business in this day and age

Marc Richards? You're posting about ten years too late.

I think it's time you were given an enforced break from enlightening us all towards the shortcomings between your ears on here. Hopefully the above post will be the final straw for site admin.

I agree. I'd be well hacked off if we'd signed Marc Richards.

Because I've seen him play, and know plenty more that watch him regularly for Haifax, and think, in a season or two, he will be better than what we've seen last few years.

The thing is they aren't getting worse. They've been this ***** for years. You just have to laugh at Nightmare. Or feel sorry for him, because if he is actually ill like his posts suggest then it's quite sad. I actually hope he gets the help he needs.

Why for speaking the truth ? Last season we brought in 4 quality players, Hourihane, Winnall, Scowen, and Daveis, and we added a couple of good loan players and brought through a few decent young lads Bree, Holgate, and Smith but the club didn't really benefit in any way what so ever, we struggled for the most part and finished mid table, now we've got a new manager and we're recruiting again we should be adding to what we've got and pushing on, but what are we hearing coming out of the club ? We're going to struggle to keep hold of our better players, well for fu'ck sake you've got to be asking yourself what the the point surely

I'm not saying he'll be ***** or he is ***** am I, I'm saying how can some of you be looking forward to the future knowing what it's going to bring no matter who we sign we never benefit from them because we can't hold on to them long enough to build anything around them,

So what your saying is, barnsley should stop as a club and give all its money to Rec? Can you not just **** off already?

So what are you suggesting? Purposely sign mediocre players so that we don't have to sell them? Unless you're Man United, Man City, Arsenal or Chelsea, teams will always sell their best players. Look at Liverpool, lost Suarez last season, Sterling leaving this season.

There's always a bigger fish. It's just how it is. It's not the club's fault. Nothing we can do really. I'd rather have a player be good for 6 months then reinvest than have a ***** player for 3 years who can't get a game.

Nothing has changed as far as Barnsley FC are concerned. It piss es me off when so called fans try and make out this Doomsday sernario is happening at the Club and we're going down the pan. If your that fed up with it all stop going. Apart from maybe 5 Clubs every club is a selling club.

I understand all that, I've come to terms with the fact we'll always be ***** many moons ago, and that's why I'm asking why do some of you get excited by new signing, why does it give you optimism, when you know what's going to come ie nothing good

Players move on. It's about getting the most out of them while they're here and getting the most from their sale.

if you don't get excited watching a team that you claim to support, or even get excited at the thought of a new season on the horizon with new players and new challenges then please answer me one serious question…

Why bother being a keyboard warrior on a football forum for a team that you don't like/support/get excited at… whichever?
