Well if that's the case then maybe he does need to be a bit less touchy. Doesn't mean I hate him though. And doesn't mean he can't say he didn't enjoy his time here. Big fuss over nothing.
I don't hate him. I don't particularly like him either. I just felt he was ***** for us in the main and his remarks upon leaving weren't necessary considering he was earning good money from day one, to not enjoy it..
I can only assume this is either a wind up, you never saw the gutless ****** play or you know Nowt abart football
Well that's your opinion Whitey, personally doesn't bother me whether he enjoyed it here or not. Rather people were honest.
When fans single out a player who at the time hadn't done anything wrong it is shameful, it doesn't matter if it was only a few. I said the same last season when some idiots booed Hourihane off. They may have been aimed at that ****** Hill but they went via Scott and I just don't agree with singling players unless they've done something abhorrent or so disrespectful that it can be justified.
It isn't a myth, I heard him getting dogs abuse from some every single week, even when he was playing well by his standards.
I'm not talking about Twitter, I can't comment on that aspect of his time with us but in the ground he was given a lot more abuse than he deserved.
Yet another bang average league 1 Hill signing. Wonder why we got relegated...I don't like him, dislike him or give the slightest thought about him.
I don't agree with booing our players, not during the game anyway. I mean, sometimes booing the team can be justified, at full time/half time or whatever. So I'm not defending those few who booed Wiseman or Hourihane, or Eaden, or whoever. But I'm tired of reading the myth on here that he was given dogs abuse throughout etc. He just wasn't. He may have got stick from folk around you every week, but I could say the same for 90% of the laikers we've had in the years I've been going to Oakwell. You always find that. Plenty of folk seem to go to games just to get their anger out of their system. To be fair, I gave Jennings a bit of stick once last season as he waddled up the wing.
Definitely. I have booed the team myself, when its aimed at the whole team collectively I think it can be justified.
I must admit that I uttered a few words of disapproval towards him too. It was ironic that Hourihane, our player of the season, was booed off but Jennings who was arguably our biggest waste of space last season was spared this treatment.
There was the odd cameo appearance by him but maybe people felt sorry for him, or didn't recognise him.
