Definitely not. Personally I think its a strange move, more so because I can't see Saunders being there very long.

It's LJ who called it poaching. I'd guess that he was allowed to leave without much fuss. Managers always like to recruit their own staff. Good luck to Crossley.
when Mark was a regular in the Welsh squad .. he was quite close to Hartson, Coleman and Saunders. For various reasons I know this to be so. My parents knew his Mam and Dad very well, they had a market stall on the little market in Hoyland. Geoff and Sandra. When Mark was in the squad he would get me a couple of match tickets with players lounge passes, It was a fantastic experience. Went to many Internationals at the Millenium. If you are looking in Mark Thanks for that.
Re: when Mark was a regular in the Welsh squad .. Cos LJ he wanted his own men...... However, LJ will be gone by crimbo and then well start again and again and again. Hth
Re: when Mark was a regular in the Welsh squad .. Bookmark this Mr Reev because I reckon LJ will see the season out.
Crossley has ho alegence to Barnsley FC , never spent anytime of his career here and has no ties here. Hes played for Chesterfield, Coached them and done just about every other job there , knows the set up, knows the goalkeepers and then his old mate gets the managers job and offers him the chance to return to the club he never really wanted to leave so its was a no brainer and he jumped at the chance to go back. Nothing to do with Lee Johnson as far as im aware.
Yep, I just think he fancied working with his mate, and for a club he liked. Nothing wrong with that - doesn't reflect on Barnsley at all. I'd probably do the same thing if my friend fetched up at a nearby club and offered me a job.
