Sheffield Wednesday: New home kit launched and shirt sponsor announced Chairman 'sponsors' the club... Wonder how much that's cost him. That's not in anyway a way to get around FFP of course........ http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/shef...aunched-and-shirt-sponsor-announced-1-7287918
Gone back to the black shorts they wore in their early 90's glory era (when they won all them trophies.. the Rumbelows Cup and the errm, errrr, aye, just that). Pity they've no Waddle, Walker, Hirst or Nilsson this time. In all seriousness, I truly hope they spend a ******* fortune, sign some reight big names and still fail to get back to the Prem.
Europe in 3 years I'm telling you .... oh hang on a minute ... it's been 20 years since they set that one off ... but they get big crowds
I can't see a problem with this. It's no different to Isoft sponsoring Barnsley when PC owned it. The chairman has spent his money. Good for him. The problem for me comes when the chairman "loans" the club the money - who then pi55 it up the wall on wages and agents fees - and don't get promoted. Then the chairman decides he wants his loan back and bankrupts the club. This is what financial fair play needed to sort out. I also have a massive problem with players and agents and other clubs getting preferential treatment when these debts are called in when the local pie shop or St. Johns Ambulance or the tax man gets sweet nothing. But I guess this ones been done before.
really hate WAWAW why have that on the shirt very tacky, lets have come on you reds on ours i think not
One of the comments states that they're signing Dimitar Berbatov and Patrick Bamford, they really are a joke.
