    The lesson being don't make statements regards early bird season tickets to recruit quickly unless that plan can actually be delivered, and when you do recruit TRY to make a better job of it than we did last season with the Dross that was purchased.

    To be fair I don't think recruitment strike rate was too bad last season, Hourihane, Winnall, Daveis, Scowen, JOS, Williams, Pearson, Cole, Waring, Ramage, Turnbul, when was last time we signed 11 players in a season that were up to the Job, I know we took a chance on some ***** that didn't work out but we got a much higher percentage of descent signings than what we normally achieve, far too many on loan players but at least we got the right caliber of player for a change, just a petty we couldn't get them all in for early July.
