    I broke 3 eggs into the frying pan for breakfast (from two separate 6 pack boxes). All three were double yolks! Not seen one for years and three come along at once :)

    Well if you knew the probability of one egg being a double yolk then your probability would be that to the power three

    Eg if it was 1/100 then the probabilityy would be 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 = 1/1000000

    ie 1 in a million

    I bought half a dozen free range eggs from a farm near Fairburn ings a couple of years ago and every one of them was a double yolker. Haven't one since.

    i own a cafe… and i go through about 30 dozen a week, some weeks i get loads.
    recently i had about 3 dozen in one week!

    it still makes me smile when i crack one in the pan … how sad
