I reckon someone should make an alternative scoreboard as an ironic protest. Few pieces of cardboard and a tin of paint and you could make an alternative scoreboard much more visible that the current one.

That said, this doesn't bother me too much at all. Generally know the score by watching the match.

Rather have a decent player purchased than a scoreboard. Yet to see a scoreboard get a team promoted.

Like others have said I'm not bothered and would prefer us to spend our money on players but I wish they would just switch off the current one because it is **** and serves no purpose.

on the other hand ....maybe they could put films on it to keep us awake!!

The point is .....we have been told this that and tother about this scoreboard issue.....and fek all has happened .....a bit like the whole Jase and Co regime so far.

'All talk no action'.....maybe we could adopt that as our new club motto(in latin or summat) on a new club badge......:)

I think it goes without saying a great signing comes before a new scoreboard

And yes you do know the score while watching the match but its a bit sad when you go to places like Fleetwood and they have a great scoreboard

Its the fact its been going on for ages now and no further forward

Each to their own but i think it would generate money for the club and better supporter experience while at oakwell

The only 'experience' I care about is watching us win.

I don't want bespoke, hand-crimped pies made with free-range chicken and organic mushroom, fancy beer, a distracting scoreboard, spinning advertising hoardings, people encouraging me to sing, or **** all.

I want to go to t'match, watch them win, and go 'ome.

Maybe we could do a joint venture with the council? They want a new cinema.

A scoreboard pays for these players that wins promotion.

It's high up my list of priorities. A good scoreboard pays for itself with advertising so doesn't use any of the transfer budget. If anything it will increase the transfer budget if enough companies want to advertise on it. Plus it makes us look more like a professional football club.

How do you know? The significant revenue from scoreboard advertising plus the small increase in attendance's and revenue that way could well have directly influenced the playing budget of promoted teams
