Strange. Never really looked out of his depth at this level and looked to me as if he had plenty of scope for improvement.
Baffling decision. I liked him and thought he was improving. Just hope we have someone lined up to replace him.
Not too fussed. Too small and lightweight really, held his own in a few games but because of that i don't think we knew his best position. Hopeless on the right and limited in the middle from what i saw of him.
Thought when he played at his best he was still only average... Don't think its a strange decision myself. LJ wants better, and if we want to be at the top of this league we'll need better
Looked out of his depth in the majority of games. Having said that he played well when coming on as sub against Chesterfield. Was definitely worth giving until January and then loaning out with a view to leaving if things didn't improve. Strange decision considering how highly Ben Mansford seemed to think of him. Maybe he's asked for the move himself?

Right decision decision for both parties. Honest player but not up to it at this level. Good luck to him.
Don't remember him having a bad game. Only actually played in the correct position about twice as well. Shame, reckon he could have done a job and should have played more in my opinion. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I seem to be in the minority on here regarding Berry but I don't think he was quite up to it at this level of football. He wasn't lacking technically and there was certainly no lack of graft but I think he struggled to physically impose himself on games. We've had similar midfielders in the past (Chris Shuker and Alex Neil come to mind) who don't contribute a great deal in terms of goals and assists yet can't demand their place in the side by being ball winners. So they end up plugging a gap at right or left midfield because the manager knows what he's going to get by picking them. Before this reads too much like I'm kicking a man whilst he's down, I do genuinely wish him well in the future. I can't knock his effort or enthusiasm and he'll no doubt be an asset back at Cambridge.
Each to their own, but completely disagree with a lot of comments on here. I may view game differently but I personally saw more than enough from him to suggest a future at this level. Better all round game than Hourihane imho. Perhaps he's looked ahead and seen that he's likely to remain behind Scowen and Hourihane and thought that best thing is to be playing football. Fair play if so. Reckon this makes likelihood of us going for Eustace a bit higher though now. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

He will never be anywhere near as good as Bailey. Correct decision, steady player but not cut out to be a first team player at this level. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
