    Wanting the club to be good at stuff and act like a professional club - you're just too demanding.

    Chill the fvck art and just accept it's the BFC way and there's an excuse for everything.

    So you don't think there are any areas we could improve in?

    Nope.

    The way we sell out most weeks with our cut-price tickets is an example to the rest of the division. All those kids we're getting into the ground and hooking for life - you can only applaud us.

    That, and the manner in which we *always* sell our best players for more than they're worth. The future's bright.

    There are, yes.

    * Remove old signage. Can't be hard. And costs naff all.

    * Improve catering. Haven't they got a new contract for that yet? Maybe that'll help. However, as a reader of other forums I think it's a nationwide thing.

    * Improve the concourses. Very bland, building-sitey, have been for years. Can't be hard. Would be cheap.

    * Pull down the scoreboard.

    * Install new scoreboard/screen.

    * Install terracing/standing in the left hand side of the West Lower.

    * Reduce ticket prices.

    * Employ about ten very sexy females to dance before the game, and at half time.

    * Employ, employ, employ a PA bloke who can speak properly when reporting cars parked incorrectly etc.

    * Tell the other PA bloke to stop calling Winnall "super Sammy". For **** sake.

    And other stuff.

    Ok, in no particular order this is what I would like the club to do:-

    Being more proactive in the transfer market
    Stuff in the shop that caters for all tastes
    New scoreboard
    Supporter's bar
    Tidy the concourses up
    Proper bar in Ponty End
    Lick of paint especially for the more shabby areas of the ground.

    I'm sure there's a reason why every one of these can't or doesn't need to be implemented.

    Just before Rotherham left millmoor they had a load of fans go down and paint the place. Cost the club nowt but materials. Just a load of white or paint and some rollers plus a small army of volunteer fans and the concourses would be revamped in a day. Stockport did similar and offered free season tickets to fans in return for a weeks work totally doing up the stadium.

    The last time the supporters trust met with Ben and co Gally asked for questions and one of those I asked was if the club could provide a ball park figure for 'finishing' the east stand and internally building the mezzanine floor that is incorporated in the design. My idea was that if the club could give us a clue how much then supporters could perhaps attempt to raise money to fun it so that redfearns bar could move into much nicer and larger premises which in turn would mean revenue for the club. The only response given 'too much at the minute'. Too much? Nobody knows how much I've got in the bank. I might be able to raise 2 quid or I might be able to raise 200k. Whilever the response is simply '**** it its probably too much' nothing will ever get done.

    Its embarrassing that as of last season the programme sellers bibs still had admiral on them. They cost 4 bloody quid each with the current Barnsley badge printed on the back. 4 ******* quid and instead we have something 13 years out of date.

    I have to say (in all honesty) none of that stuff bothers me one iota.

    I accept it does others though.

    With very little organisation or little or no expenditure the concourse 'plain breeze block' walls could be made into fan friendly, charitable projects engaging the local community.

    Local schools/colleges
    Competitions submitted designs
    Crowd mural where you can have your face painted for £
    Local images, past players, past badges/crests etc etc

    If we can get local businesses to fork out £1000's to sponsor a stand etc then we'd surely be able to source materials for free/donations/sponsor etc

    WSB would love to take a project on like that. By the fans for the fans. Piece of piss.

    That is often a throwaway remark, but in this case, it really is that simple.

    I might see what Ben has to say.

    If local youth clubs etc can organise similar I'm sure it is the bit of piss I mentioned.

    I know 2-3 of us WSB are connected in the areas I mentioned.

    Imagine for instance my lad. 10 years old. A crowd scene/mural that his class have designed. Their own 'portraits' painted. A local business name on the painted advertising hoarding at the base of the mural. Education, proudness, art, community engagement, literally all under one roof.

    I've a mate who's an old/retired graffiti artist who lectures art. Hed love to create a BFC related design for 'framing' on the inner ground walls.

    It's easy to do. I know it's not a priority by any stretch of the imagination. But a small step in making the match day experience (that we were promised) becoming better!

    It's infuriating knowing how simple a task this is.

    And after one season, you scrub the walls (or whatever) and do fresh designs.

    I'll see if I can collar Ben tomorrow, mention it.

    You'd have to be ******* silly as a football club to turn away ideas and graft for free.
