Have to disagree with that. They reinvented themselves from obnoxious medallion wearing Noo Yoikers to peace loving Buddhists once rend with the fate of Tibet. They got a lot of acclaim too. What was the song with the robot in the video? I hated that one.
Disagree all you like mate, all opinions welcome. Most people do know them for their early hits though. Great band. Reinventing yourselves is a good thing, for longevity.
It's a piss take; however much the beeb want to do it they can't erase history. Back on topic, I was watching them on an old show doing 'time for action'. Still sounds great today.
Probably right I mainly flogged it to this guy who runs a mod website because he begged me and I hadn't played it for years but I sorta regret it.
Agreed. Music for the jilted generation is another cracking album by them and their new album the day is my enemy has some belting tracks on it too. Going to see them live in november, can't wait!
Milburn. On the scene with arctic monkeys but didn't make it big. Their first album 'well well well' rivals arctic monkeys' debut in terms of quality imo
Mike Patton is a genius. Faith No More improved infinitely once he joined, and he's been involved in countless side projects, each sounding completely different. I know this is a cover, but I love how Barnsley gets a mention: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o703ItRgOGw&index=10&list=PLmXxqSJJq-yUfrjvKe5c5LX_1x7nGVF6c
Anything by Billy Childish. That underrated, no one's ever heard of him. Which is how I'd like it to stay..
