    According to sketchy Sun journalist on twitter, Alan Nixon. If you follow Nixon, you'll know he's a very prolific tweeter of ITK stories regards transfers etc. He's got a lot right, and a lot wrong in the past. For example, he told me Watkins wasn't someone we were interested in, but then he signed the next day..

    I've asked him how confident he is. He says "Barnsley are...."

    Says an announcement is imminent. That he's turned down an easy squad life in a higher division to play regular first team football.

    I'm hoping it's true, just because he'd have turned down dem blades. Already got their fans on twitter saying he's only chose us for guaranteed first team football. I forgot dem blades were great at defending and must have imagined them having to play Maccavelli and Brayford at centre half...

    Really hope this turns out to be true. Sounds like he could be a excellent bit of business. Hopefully get him and the 'poor man's Van Persie' in next week.

    The good thing about this signing is that he has the potential to be top class at this level. If we were to be in this league for a few more years, he is a very good signing.

    Ha ha ha ha how long are you expecting the contract being ? He'll be here 18 months tops two year deal, one full season and sell in the January 2017 transfer window for a fraction of his true worth, we've not signed him yet and I've already sold him ha ha ha ha

    Should we achieve our aim this season, that being promotion, then I wouldn't be surprised to see our top players renew their contracts.
    If we don't then obviously higher placed clubs are going to come in for our better players, and they will leave,

    I'm not moaning at all, if being realistic is tedious to you then fair enough, moaning would be saying the club are wrong in what they are doing, have I said that ? No I've not, do I agree with it, again no I don't, do I understand why they do it absolutely I do, Come January if Hourihane & Winnall are attracting better clubs I'll be happy they are because they'll have played well for other clubs to be interested, I'll be pissed off that as soon as they've started to get to a decent level we're going to lose them for next to nowt because of their contract length, I'll even hope that the club take the hit and let their contracts run out so we get the best chance as possible of finishing as high as possible but I'll understand why we've sold them, how is that moaning it's just understanding if thy asks me, the post in which I quoted stated that'll be a solid signing and he's one for our future, I pointed out if he is a solid signing his future will lay elsewhere how is that being negative and moaning it's being realistic, if you think I'm wrong fair enough but I bet you as much as you want that I'm not
