I used to just use my username and password to log in. Now its asking for my email and password. My email and password isn't working and when I click forgot my password it doesn't recognise my email in order to send me a password reset. Anyone else had a problem with this?
It happened to me as well yesterday. However, my email address was accepted and I just had to renew the password. God knows why it didn't accept my original details though.
Maybe it decided to get rid of you without any explanation. Did it fail in saying good bye or thanking you for your contribution....... mmmmmm look out whilst its playing up .....it could be looking to replace you with a wednesday supporter..... they tell me thats how it starts.....
I was OK to login using my email and password - but also wondered why its changed from username I also like the fact you have to login before you can get a link to the help menus and I particularly like the cancellation advice To cancel your subscription you will need to log in to your existing Player account. Once logged in, follow the steps below: Select 'My Account' tab Select the 'Unsubscribe' tab Click on the 'Unsubscribe' button When I go to the My account tab the only tabs I have are Review personal details Set up a credit / debit card Review order history View subscriptions And if you go into subscriptions you still don't have an unsubscribe option - just one to change your bank details And another thing When I look at my settings <label>Marketing Allowed</label> <label class="ng-binding"> </label> <label>Marketing From Third Parties Allowed</label> I never ever agree to 3rd party marketing but again I cant see any way to change this I feel an email coming on
I've got the same problem. Forgotten password didn't recognise my email either. My guess is that either it didn't ask me for an email when i signed up, just a username, so no email is associated with my account or it was an old email I used at the time, I signed up 3/4 years ago. Complete **** up on their part (the service provider not the club), they must have been inundated with emails as I imagine this is affecting every club who use their service. BFC should be getting onto them. I have used the 'contact us' link at the bottom of the player page, awaiting reply. I'll post on here once I hear something.
You have to go onto the Barnsley fx website and log in there then it works in the app,that's what I did

If you long on player through the the Barnsley fc website it will work I was having the same problems trust me.
I signed up again, I'm pretty sure they've deactivated my old account as I'm sure I haven't been billed since the end of April.
They replied via email very quickly. The email i signed up with 4 years ago is different to the one I use now, they told me the old email, so I could then login...and update my email. So to fix this you need to go to the player website, at the bottom click the 'contact us' link, make sure to select the category of 'access issue', fill in your current email and explain your having trouble logging in, then click send. You should then get an email within an hour or two.
Farnham_Red: I looked for this once I regained access. If you login to the player website, you can access account settings and there is the option to uncheck these settings on there. Mine were already unchecked.

It doesn't exactly help to bring back people who used to subscribe and jacked it in for some of the reasons listed in this thread.
