    Same thing we brought him in, if as you suggested we have a type of player we recruit, why didn't we bring a young in instead, I don't think age comes into it, it's all about having the right attitude, I think the fact Johnson as played with him and managed him he'll know what he's all about.

    It's not what I'm suggesting it's what the club have stated isn't it . Sign players who they can improve and possibly sell on. How is an emergency loan the same as a permanent signing ?

    I liked him. Thought he put himself abart and worried defences more than waring in the same role

    So did I. Carlisle have got themselves a good un there. I'd rather us not go for Stead. Maybe he will turn us down again like when he resigned for Huddersfield. I'd rather wait until the season starts so Stoke have had a good look at Waring and will hopefully be ready to loan him back out.

    Stead on a permanent and Waring on loan would be a good deal. Stead could coach young Waring a bit.
