YES! Someone else who thinks like me I also don't like people with 2 christian names - like Craig David - but appreciate a surname can't be helped. I would accept a surname as a christian name, if the christian name was a surname. So many people have turned surnames into christian names now however, it's hard to differentiate what's a christian or a surname!
Have you got any examples? I can't think of any examples of people using their surnames as a first name apart from foreign footballers
I think he's referring to Mason Holgate (for eg) as opposed to both names being same. What do we make of Neville Neville?
Whilst on the subject if surnames, where does yours originate from. http://gbnames.publicprofiler.org Mines from Bradford / Halifax.
It's a North American thing but it's definitely coming in here, mainly for boys Kids first names we've come across via school Harrison Anderson Tyler Mason Thompson Fletcher Jackson Don't forget that people's surnames often derive from the occupations people used to do centuries ago back, so they are definitely surnames being used as first names.
Mason Wade Harrison Jackson Taylor Tyler Bailey Johnson They're all surnames to call your kid any of the above or others like them makes you a bellend
If I was a psychologist, I would say tyke works in an almost entirely male-dominated environment, where they discuss things like this each day. I imagine there's massive displays of alpha-male behaviour, which is used to mask their inherent and very deep-rooted homosexual feelings for each other.
well that's a lot of Patricks, Johns, and Alans caught up in an ill thought out sweeping statement, for a start can't be arsed typing any more
