Not sorry if already posted. http://www.southernstar.ie/Sport/Ba...ne-has-never-forgotten-his-roots-03072015.htm Oh, and his name is being talked about on twitter at great length by Burnley, Bolton and Huddersfield fans. Do we think he'll still be here by August 8?
Personally I think he's worth more to the team than that. Take away his goals and assists and we'd have been in serious trouble. Cranie wasn't particularly prolific from set pieces but now we have Mawson in there he could get even more assists next season than last.
Seriously though, I think we'll be top six this season but if we do sell CH then we must replace wisely.
Burnley: Parachute payments so possible. Bolton: Shouldn't have the millions needed to buy him when they are so much in debt. Huddersfield Town: If Coady is worth 2 million then Mr Hoyle be getting out 4-5 million if he's interested. The 7th seven figure sale during his time as owner. Lets see how much gets put back into the team. Based on the other six like Rhodes, Peltier, Pilkington etc it will be a fraction. Powell might get 25% of it.
They're after McGugan, had 400k bid rejected Friday, going back with 500k on Monday, so I've read. Coady is potential, saw little in him last season to suggest he's worth £2m, so that's a great deal. Just happy Jacob's staying put for the first summer in years.
