In. Not because I think we're better off in but because I don't feel I have enough information or knowledge to make an important decision to pull out. None of us have and that is the scary thing. One of the most important decisions in modern history will be made by people who have absolutely no idea of the true facts

That's a bit of an odd comparison. I have a great deal more insight into how much coca cola you need to stock to supply an event with a potential 15000 attendance than I have into how the UK will perform in or out of the EU in 10 years time in an ever changing world.

Likewise I have a far greater insight into how to describe a duvet set in promotional material than I have into how a farm in Dorset will be affected by the removal of EU funding

In, I think, but I shouldn't be allowed to have the vote as I don't know enough about the implications. The subject is so huge that I could read about it all day, every day, until polling day and I still wouldn't know enough.

I listened to an interview with Richard Branson the other day who spoke about how trading in Europe for British companies used to be difficult, full of restrictions and red tape, and very costly. It's now easy and many British firms sell almost exclusively to European Union nations. It's for that reason I'll be voting to keep us in. I don't want to make it more difficult for British companies to sell their stuff. Seems as good a reason as any.

    That's exactly where I am.

There should be a simple 3rd option to abstain from making the decision.

Politicians can't lose if it's a referendum decision and we leave. If it works out they point out how brave they were to let the people decide, and how the people made the right decision, it's how democracy works. If it doesn't work out they'll point to how it was the people who wanted to leave, they were always cautious about it. To me it's just a kop out of making a big decision.

My money would be on a marginal 'stay in' victory anyway.

Given that the only thing the uk puts into the eu is huge sums of money id opt out.

That's the problem with any vote/election, you just get biased ***** from all parties to suit their own agendas as will happen here. I've not decided yet, will wait until closer to the time to weigh up the options. If it was held today I'd vote to remain in, but it depends what Dave comes back from Brussels with because I think we need a major restructure of how it works.

As things stand I'm 'out' but I need a lot more details before I vote.
