Holgate training with development squad again. As are Lalkovic and Bailey.

Davies with the physio. Think we'll see Turnbull start in goal at the weekend. Has anyone seen Davies train during pre-season?

Why are we treating him like ****

The lad needs to be convinced this is the best place for him

Horse as bolted, once he's said he doesn't want to be here Fu'ck him, use your time developing the lad who is going to be here in that position.

No i'm sure Mason realises we are building for a new season to get players right for us who will be playing for us next season.

Did you notice if Cranie was training with the reserves still?

He's treating us like ****, so why should we make him royalty? Rather focus on players who want to be her like Bree, Smith,Digby

Any new trialists notice Redarmy? And are the trialists that we know are there in training?

I cant pick any out but the firsts are at the other end of the facility and I would only recognise Omar Rowe. Who I dont think is there.

George Williams is training with the development as he was last week.

We're desperate for a right back in if Holgate does go. I dont think Johnson fancies Williams at all.

Totally agree. Nobody would be wanting him in and around the first team if he wasn't a Barnsley lad

Has he been made a derisory offer, and if so does the club want to cash in now?

If he's made it plain that he wants out irrespective then Johnson has to take that into account - no point him training and being part of set plays etc for a team he won't be playing for.

If all he's done is knock back a contract and negotiations are ongoing then that's different gravy innit.

Agree too. He should be training as normal until he leaves. Unless there's another reason he's not, fitness maybe? Probably not but we're only presuming why.

Isn't the squad split anyway? Or is the star article a smoke screen for treating outcasts differently?

When you have a youngster of his unquestionable quality you try to keep them

You do, but when said youngster isnt signing a contract and wants to leave you dont treat them the same as the good eggs

    No doubt about it

Johnsons approach on this is a little bit concerning
