It's certainly thought provoking. Each image represents a different problem affecting the modern world, paedophilia, obesity, gun crime, war, etc.
Well it provokes nothing for me. I see possible adults in different guises with kids stuck on their back. However, the Emperor's suit of clothes is springing to mind.
On their own the images are nothing more than kids hanging off the backs of adults but if you read about the meaning of each pose it certainly raises some very contentious and difficult issues. It's the meaning behind the images that are thought provoking although using images that depict crucifixion is quite audacious in itself.
But there is nothing to read with the pictures, so have you done further reading or is it just your imagination?
In order they represent the following things. The church and the young boys who are the victims of paedophile priests Sex tourism in places like Thailand and the young girls who are the victims War and the innocent children who die Illegal organ farming and the young children who are commonly the victims. Kidnapped and murdered for their organs which are then sold The American gun culture and how school children are the victims of school shootings as a result. Obesity and how young children are the victims of companies like McDonald's. On their own the images don't really mean much (though one or two are more obvious than others) but when you know the background and what they represent I guess it changes things a little.
