It's unfortunate that money is such an issue in football because I really rate him, especially at our level.
Chris Powell on Cranie, and Hammill. http://www.htafc.com/news/article/huddersfield-town-chris-powell-guiseley-comments-2541296.aspx
Hmmm. He was on the plane to Marbella with Jacob and friends this morning so they're obviously having a proper look at him. Those who went to Guiseley weren't impressed with him. I thought he was standard Cranie. Not stand out, not awful, just very ******* meh.
I think they are one of the favourites for relegation regardless of Cranie signing. And having watched them a fair bit last season, he's easily better than their third choice centre half, Murray Wallace. They have a couple of brilliant strikers but Vaughan is injured once again, already. And in terms of midfielders and wingers they're as good as owt in that division. It's their defence that's the issue. I don't think Cranie will solve that issue, but he's better than they've got. I personally see them staying up. Blackburn will go down, bookmark this quote.
Signing a player doesn't relegate a team. I think he's good enough for Huddersfield. His high wages have counted against him during his time here.
