    Much better piece of kit, and online offers much more with playstation plus, free games every month etc.

    PS4 for me, but that's just because its exclusives appeal more to me.

    PS4 for me too but i've always had Playstation so perhaps i'm biased.

    Both are good but, you can build a small PC around the same size as a PS4/Xbox One and it will turn out to be cheaper, could build one what is equivalent or better for about £450-£500 and then get games for cheaper prices.

    But out of the two, personally i'd go for a Xbox One.

    PS4 would be my advice.

    However, the best advice I can give really is: get the system most of your mates have (if you intend playing online at least). The PS4 is a much better looking / smaller unit than Xbox.

    It's a very good game offline but online it's awful. So many glitches that need fixing.

    Even the missus agreed to buying it as long as I buy her Ratchet & Clank when it comes out :D

    How much do they cost in the UK? For the 500gb PS4 with FIFA 15 and 2 controllers I paid 400€ which is just under £290?

    Cracking price mate. Wouldn't get one that cheap over here. Having said that, not too much value in Fifa now as the new one is just around the corner. Just sold mine however and converted to PES. Doesn't look as good as fifa - nowhere near as good on close-ups - but gameplay is so much more realistic.

    BTW, I got the 500Gb on release, but pretty much immediately I swapped to a bigger HDD (not sure if it was 750Gb or 1Tb) as I don't think 500Gb will last forever with the size of todays games. I then put the 500Gb drive from PS4 into my 60Gb PS3. Both had a substantial upgrade.
