How much does playing attractive football matter?

    Its a false scenario though. I think when people argue over style of football it is in part related to their preference, but mainly due to their belief in which would be most likely to be successful. The question really is do you think you are more likely to be successful long term by playing boring but effective football or by playing attractive, fast-paced, enjoyable football..

    For me its the latter.

    The even bigger false scenario is that you could hoof your way to promotion and then can suddenly turn in to 1970 Brazil once back in the championship.

    But it shouldn't stop us from trying to play something more pleasing on the eye than the tosh recently served up.

    I didn't mean all effective football is boring, just the boring stuff effective in its on right

    Bournemouth would definitely fall into the attractive category

    I think as well if you are winning, fans don't complain about how you play anyway

    Just wanted to throw the question out anyway

    I'd like to see us attack teams at will, football em to death at home. Solid away from home.

    I'd also like to see us get promoted, at Wembley being my preference, against Sheff Utd.
