A big marquee at the side of the ground. 2 big tv's. One showing classic Derby games the other showing sky sports etc. Drinks £3 and sold at a separate kiosk to food. Do on too, but not sure if I'd want that tbh. Pre order your drink and food for half time and just hand over your pre purchased token. All this is what every club should be doing I my opinion.
if this was at barnsley there would be 500 folk huddled in the corner having a ***, the tv's would be blank, the beer warm and the pies all gone by 2.30.
Owned by Americans. They seem to be fetching the American sports day experience with them. How a club should be run. I'd just settle for a TV that's works at jokewell
A club should be run like an American 'sports'day experience? No thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You need to get in Redfearn's. None of that rings true for our modest 150 group. Actually, no, you're right. The pies are always gone by 2:30pm. Sometimes even the beer.
Aye. And we will end up with breaks every 5 minutes so they can throw a few more adverts at ya. But we ain't got a scoreboard so that's solved. Unless they pipe it over the tannoy. This is an advert. An advert...... Cringe
Fan parks perhaps better placed as these grounds away from the centre like Derby. Oakwell is simply too near other places with beer and telly and many would just stick to cheaper option and five min walk.
