Signed a two year deal at Leeds. Not sure if there is a fee or not

I'm not too fussed with him leaving as Davies will be the number 1 and hopefully Dibble will step up but is it actually a free transfer?

What is the point in having him contracted if we're just giving him away? I know he'll be on a good wage so it'll free that up but surely we could some sort of fee.

    Good.
His back is as knackered as Whitey's face.

Good luck to the lad... Top keeper, no doubt one of our highest earner, struggled with injuries for a few years now.

IMHO started well for us last term but looked like he was carrying injury for latter spell and his form suffered. In Davies and Dibble we have two good young keepers. And on last seasons form Davies would be my first choice. Another big salary off the books, and if Bailey, lalkovic and Holgate leave i trust we will have some money to invest in the team.

Heard last week that he'd failed a medical last week due to chronic back trouble. Whilst it seems strange that we've let him go on a free, qif that is indeed the case, I reckon he'll have been a top earner and may allow us to bring in a couple more players in his place. Davies is going to be first choice keeper regardless this season so no real loss to be honest.

When have you seen enough of Dibble to assess him so?

The fact he plays for the Wales U21's gives us hope he's got some talent. He also looked very composed and confident on Saturday, all be it at Staylbridge.

Hasn't he just signed for someone in our division though?

He wasn't as bad as people made out ........ well he was, but should never have been thrown in at the time. Dibble actually looks like a keeper though, stature and communication wise.

At what point has anyone claimed he's '****ing brilliant'?

But carry on, let's make out our potential reserve keeper is absolutely dog w@nk having never actually seen him play. The Barnsley way ....... I love it.

Your face has been hit by a bench.

Great deal all round for the club. Getting him off the books quickly is worth much more than hanging around to try and secure any pittance of a fee that might be available. Davies more than proved himself so daft to have someone such as turnbull on a much higher wage. I'd take getting him off the books now without a fee over hanging around till the end of the transfer window to sort this out any day of the week.

not much to celebrate in making a weak squad weaker. from my albeit brief views of Dibble he looks a long way off ready.
