just debating this topic at work and work mate said 12 months at Man Utd or any premier league club and you're set for life, just look at Jennings Melis Turnbul and others, they'll never fail to find some mug club to take them on no matter how ***** they've been since because they once played for a top clubs youth team, so these two even if they never see the Utd first team they'll still get clubs better then they should until they retire because they'll always be ex United players . What do you think as he got a point ?
Yeah but nothing new nor surprising. I have a feeling there's some kind of deal afoot here. Maybe they are trialing with a view to a swap deal.... just maybe.
I was thinking same few days back especially once you have been at united your set for life you will always find a club. Dissapointing thing about holgate for me is we have had him from a very young age put alot of time and effort in to training him, think whitey pointed out he left our accademy for leeds then they releaed him we took him back. And ano people will say he owes us nothing but would be nice to see abit of loyalty and sign a extension so we can at least hold out for a decent some. Maybee he has been misguided but he has bascially stuck twos up at us and forced him self a move to a bigger club. If we get a million for him plus add ons its a good deal imo but given a year if he would have signed a extenision we could have got three times that.
They're only training for two weeks with them basically to see if they are worth a look. The two weeks will pass and they'll be sent back. Same thing happened with one of the promising youth players who trained with Man City for two weeks - was it Jordan Clark? Whoever it was disappeared without trace. It's not the same as actually being signed full-time by the club and playing matches for the Academy/reserves.
Can't be Clark because City tried to sign him but either us or Clark turned it down. I bet he wishes it'd have happened now
