We're signing him apparently. Been linked with Huddersfield and Wigan, think he was training there actually, but aye, he's possibly playing for us this weekend on trial. Via Alan Nixon on twitter.
Be happy with that he's got class and he scored a worldy last season. Was actually hoping we'd take a look at him after that goal.
Was highly rated as a kid in Man City's youth sides, signed by Danny Wilson and Mickey Mellon in the past. Also had a loan spell at Rochdale. Scored 8 goals for Fleetwood last season. Quite a big lad, but good feet from what little I remember of him.
Broke his foot around the same time we lost Winnall, missed four months. Which explains just the 8 league goals. More I read about him the more I like. Seems the sort of lad we ought to be looking at at this level.
Mmm. Seems to have moved around from club to club at this level. Is he really that good if Fleetwood released him? Anyway, we'll see I suppose.

Wasnt Marc Richards released by Northampton or someone before we signed him? Did a job for us Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not that big, certainly not a target man, bit similar to Winnall, good touch and a natural finisher. Did ok for us in a loan spell initially then went back. Came back again later in the season and didn't really do much the 2nd time. Tidy player - not great but not bad either.
Talk about releasing high earners and nurturing home-grown young talent to sell on...sounds familiar!
Only the same as Ibhere really who did a job for us last season. According to their forum they offered him a deal before the end of the season and he turned it down wanting more money. They believe him to be one of their top earners. Seems a decent prospect but plagued with injury. Considering he's 4 months younger than me, I'd like to consider him still young enough to improve. The fuss around Ball and Bunn that season almost distracted from the dross seen out on the pitch. Almost. Neither stood out, and although Bunn did ok at Huddersfield last season, I'm still not sure what David Ball has that Ashley Grimes couldnt offer apart from running around a bit more.
