    Back in the 1980s I worked with a young Cornish lad who was a big Plymouth fan and a keen member of PASALB, their version of our London branch. One of his favourite words was "thraping", as in give him/them "a darn good thraping". It was just a West Country slang word, nothing more.


    Amazing the stupid things you remember over the years.....
