I should be very surprised if it happened.

Can't see it happening, but he'd be a good addition. Pace, and lots of it. Exactly what we lack at present.

The guy was well known for a lack of punctuality, hate bad timekeepers, and despite having plenty of pace i just don't rate his overall game.

He's got the attributes to be a very effective player at this level. When coming off the bench he looked a real threat but starting games and finding his way into the rough and tumble of this division proved difficult for him. Can't see why we wouldn't be an attractive proposition for him though.

When Bobby went off yesterday for Roberts, we went with a 3-2-3-2

Maybe as a loanee he was in that mind set that he was possibly too good to play for us in league 1.

So the overall contribution and effort wasn't really their.

Having been released it may be the kick up the arse he needs and he really gets his head down.

I would take a punt on him yes. He does have "it" in him.

    Resale value and all that

Looked like a 352 to me with Bree and Smith as wingbacks.

3-2-3-2 and 3-5- 2 is basically the same thing

Aye. That's what I meant. Over complicating it to say 3232.

Cole would be a great signing - lots of pace, can play on the wing and knows where the net is.

Must have still been one of our top scorers last year despite only being here a few months!

LJ wasn't here when we had him though so I don't know if I believe this

A no brainer for me. Thought he was mostly excellent when he was here. Lightning quick, can beat a man and can finish, plays out wide or through the middle and could have a hefty resale value if he kicks on like his talent suggests he could.

Be a good addition to our squad, as to his punctuality he was travelling from Manchester every day so make him move into the area

A definite "yes" for me. Started off at a blistering pace, but unsurprisingly ran out of steam towards the end of his spell. Some of his finishing was wild, some of it sublime. Raw, but overall extremely instinctive in front of goal. Has got plenty of time to refine the many rough edges in his game.

Not overely struck on Devante but considering our startling lack of attacking options, especially with pace, I'd sign him. Loads of potential there and and still very young. No reason he couldn't be a £3m player in a couple years.

Might be expecting more wages than we can afford perhaps?
