There probably are others, but off the top of my head, i would say O'Sullivan. I think that him and Williams in the same side, would be very scary for defenders in this league.
Le Fondre. Just the kind of striker who'd be amazing at our level. Cardiff want a rumoured 500k which shouldn't be a problem for us even now considering we bid 400k for Dempsey. Wages could be a problem but the idea of playing regular first team football (which he's not done for a few years), coming back to an area he knows well and was successful in and playing in a promotion challenging side might help him take a pay cut.
Dale legend. Off the bench. His overall contribution to a game is often minimal but lives for scoring goals. It was one reason why he'd share striking duties with Dagnall at Dale and often ge more effective off the bench. The year we had to sell him to Rotherham was the season we got promotion with COG coming in instead, then him and Dagnall forming a great partnership without the latter worrying when Alfie will get a game. He's the sort of player who'll get 20 goals in a season where you'll be wondering if he's playing half the time.
Would love Nathan Byrne from Swindon, think we're lacking for options at left back but he would probably be looking for a move to the championship. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is Barnsley. We don't mind them being ineffective as long as they 'put a shift in'. Definitely don't want the likes of Le Fondre, thank you very much.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32613121 Excellent record at you and Rotherham. Clearly likes playing more in this area of the country. Did alright on loan at Bolton last season, but not seen anything about them wanting to make it a permanent deal. No harm in seeing if he's any interest. Him and Winall for goals with the likes of Williams, Scowen and Hourihane alongside them would piss the play offs if they all stayed fit.
I wouldn't mind COG back, I liked him and think he would suit this current team Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
not strictly true. When he announced in his interview that he was likely leaving Cardiff he name checked Bolton as a potential destination and that something might happen there.
Mcleod, Le Fondre and O'Sullivan are all tempting. Darikwa from Chesterfield would be a great full back for us, but less exciting than a forward or winger.
I think this is a ridiculously hard question to answer right now as I haven't got a clue what formation we might play. I keep reading that Johnson doesn't like to play with width, so not sure where JOS would fit in if that is the case. I'd love to sign JOS though. I'd also love Waring back on a three year contract too.
