Coventry have today signed a striker on loan from Newcastle. Does this mean they've missed out on McLeod? They were linked with Samaras over the weekend too, and their fans seem to want a player of his mould. That said, I can't see us signing both McLeod and Henderson.

Crawley have also signed two strikers, looking more likely

From what I've heard/read we have bids in for McLeod, Madden and Henderson. Imagine we'd get one. Can't see us getting Madden from S****horpe. But would imagine we need at least two. Two plus Winnall gives us option and Cover. With Watkins able to play up top and Maris who LJ rates.

Mcleod would be a big signing for us. I think I'd just fancy him over Henderson. Great finisher and scores all types of goals.

That Sun journo said one striker we are after is "off the radar" which to me is usually how it's worded before people think "how the hell we in the running to sign him" comes into place.

    McLeod and Paddy Madden?

    Yes, please.

Couple of full-backs, a goalkeeper and a winger and we're ready.

I like Paddy Madden but would be too much of a Winnall clone I think. Not sure how both could play in the same team

Madden plays a lot more direct than Winnall. He can run at defenders as well as been able to play off the shoulder. I think he'd be a good addition.

No I think that Madden came in from Yeovil AFTER we had nicked Winnall.

Could be meltdown at Glanford if we stole their best striker again!

I certainly hope so. He could be an excellent signing in our league.
