Oh well, I'll not be spending anything on the booze then. What happened to the forming links with local suppliers guff?
At a time of craft beer and small breweries doing well, and with one such brewer right on the doorstep.... Are barnsley tastes towards alcoholic water and therefore the club are serving to demographic taste, or is it drop of a ballcock? Persnally I wouldn't drink in the ground on principal alone now. Very disappointing.
I won't be spending owt at the oakwell bars then. Is this at Redfearn's too? because if it is, I won't be going in there again either.
They do indeed, but I'm not spending two hours on the train to Yorkshire to drink a cornish-themed beer brewed in burton!
No real ale at all from what I can gather. Worthington's font installed. Positives are that there's plenty of fonts so should be quick service, and price is slightly reduced I think. No real ale will be a big negative for some. We'll see
As a counter point to all this, if they only served real ale they wouldn't get a penny from me. Saying that I can't stand Carling either! If they served Carlsberg (which I know many on here also hate), I would be all over it like a rash.
