I'm not arsed tbh. I've never had a drink in the ground anyway. I'll just stick to No.7 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
"Barnsley FC are proud to announce that for the next five years we will be running out of coors instead of acorn at 20 past 2"
excellent news......real ale is just sludgy muck anyway long live cheap gassy lager (at expensive prices!)
So much great local beer around, no excuse for this. However, it may be financially advantageous to the club, and I guess that I'm in a minority in being bothered what sort of ale is served, as long as it's cold and wet.
BFC will get the pouring rights. As I understand it, a % kick back of all Molson Coors products sold in the ground.
It's only the bottled Doombar that's brewed in Burton, although there's rumours they are sneaking cask out of there as well
Already sell Molson Coors products so shouldn't mean too much change. Perhaps a different bottled cider may be required.
Not rumours, they have been doing so for six months, my cousin delivers it ! Of course , they only reckon they are doing so because of the summer boom !
Diplomatic answer - we run the venue at the clubs discretion but I think everyone knows why it's so popular - keeping things local where possible helps to make it successful.
Too fecking cold on the open East Lower concourse to be able to hold anything from October to March anyway.
