'BIdding for two strikers, Henderson and another. Having a go' the other person tweets, 'Do you know who the other one is?' Alan responded, 'its a new one. Quite ambitious' Seen a few names of Bradshaw and Madden, can't see it being Bradshaw as he signed a new contract in May/June but money talks...
Well it was reported in the Sun this morning that we were after one "off the radar". Very encouraging. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Or Matt Smith (Fulham) had brief spell under LJ @ Oldham. Or as reported earlier 40y/o GK Jussi Jasskalinen
We do seem to be going trough the top scorers list in our league with Forte, Andy Williams and Ian Henderson. Paddy Madden and Bradshaw are the only other two on that list that would be realistic in some respect
Whats his twitter name? Makes me wonder if its in the Championship or lower/same league... hope if we dont get him we eventually find out.
Mmm, our ambitious signings since Vaz Te haven't really come off. I'd rather be signing ambitious players, like we have been doing.
It depends what the circumstances are. The likes of Treacy and Lita last season were good players who are at the wrong end of their careers, and have lost their way a little bit. I can't even begin to guess who the ambitious signing is, but if it was Adam Le Fondre as someone has suggested, (I don't think for one second that it is), then this is a striker who has hit a bit of bad form at Cardiff, but scored very frequently at Bolton on loan last season and has a phenomenal scoring record at every club he's pitched up at. The circumstances need to be right. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Vaz Te wasn't really an ambitious signing. He'd just left Hibernian, after scoring one goal in ten league games, and came in on trial.
Caolan Lavery James Hanson Chris Brown All complete guesses and perhaps may not be obvious 'ambitious signings' but a guess never the less.
