    As Barnsley residents, we are hardly in a position to be mocking the state of northern towns are we? Our town centre is as bad as anything out there - except Rotherham.

    Remember, we were in League One last season. Anything over 300 is large in comparison.

    Tbf I can see a lot of them turning up to POTD as it's same price and saves the faff of going down to the ticket office, and they generally bring a lot to Oakwell.

    As someone who's visited Middlesbrough a fair bit in recent times, I can assure folk that Barnsley is like Florence in comparison. Middlesbrough is an absolute dive. Quite possibly the most depressing place I've visited.
